I would interact with the clients as much as I could and assisted them in their daily tasks such as chores. I would also help around doing overall chores for the house, keeping it clean and organized. Every 2 weeks I would host a culture night which involves having the clients indulge in foods from different countries followed by an activity traditionally from that country. I also had the opportunity to help in the deesclation process when clients would get upset and needed guidance on how to calm down. I have gotten to do everything I wanted such as interacting with the client that does not speak to staff often an be apart of the deescalation process.
