Diabetic nephropathy happens when diabetes damage blood vessels and other cells in the kidney. since the kidneys have millions of tiny blood vessel clusters called glomeruli the diabetes attacks it, what glomeruli does is it filters waste from the blood. Damage to these blood vessels can lead to diabetic nephropathy. The damage can keep the kidneys from working as they should and lead to kidney failure.

PCOS, or polycystic ovarian syndrome:

Hormonal Imbalance: High levels of insulin and androgens, or male hormones, are two of the main hormonal imbalances that define PCOS. Although the precise source of these hormone imbalances is not entirely known, genetics may be involved.

Insulin Resistance: People with PCOS frequently have insulin resistance, which is a condition in which the body's cells don't react to insulin as intended. This may result in more insulin being produced, which could then fuel an excess of androgens and cause ovarian cysts to form.

Disease of the Polycystic Kidney (PKD):

hereditary Factors: PKD is inherited from one or both parents because it is a hereditary disorder. Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) and autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease (ARPKD) are the two main forms of polycystic kidney disease (PKD).

ADPKD: This kind is inherited autosomally dominantly and is caused by mutations in either the PKD1 or PKD2 gene. This indicates that a person with the illness has a 50% probability of passing it on to each of their offspring.

ARPKD: This less common variant is inherited autosomally recessively and is brought on by mutations in the PKHD1 gene. For a child to be impacted, both parents need to have a copy of the defective gene.

PCOS is a complex condition with a range of symptoms, and its exact cause is not fully understood.

PKD: These cysts can interfere with kidney function over time, leading to complications such as high blood pressure and kidney failure
