If we had never discovered cells and how they work then scientists wouldn't be able to work to fight back diseases and we wouldn't have as much to study about our world because cells are the foundation of a lot of what we learn in science.

We need to know how our bodies function in order to find remedies, cures, and other methods to prevent or treat diseases and maintain our health. Knowing our body's function is important to know what, why, and how we can stay healthy.
