oh another random thing about me is I like to read romance books...

there few things that I would love to improve in the next few years:

• Learn how to manage my time. Especially time for rest and study. Usually I will not slepp the whole night when I have quizzes and assignment to do 😖

• learn not to be too shy when facing people. I'm not a person with anxiety disease but I get nervous when there are people watching me. This thing bothers me a lot when I have to do a presentation in class. So I hope I can overcome this problem so that I can be a great person.. :0

So...I hope this usrah can improve myself to be more better.

Allah does not burden a person except according to his ability. He gets (reward) from the (good deeds) he does and he gets (punishment) from the (evil) he does. (They pray), "O our Lord, do not punish us if we forget or we do wrong. O our Lord, do not burden us with a heavy burden as You burdened those before us. O our Lord, do not burden us with what we cannot bear. Forgive us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our protector, so help us face the infidels."

This verse from the Qur'an is my favourite verse because it means that Allah will not give us challenges that we cannot handle. So I believe that all the challenges that I am facing now have a solution.And I also believe that there will be a rainbow after the rain.Believe that Allah is a good planner.

I was able to learn more deeply about Islam, for example about the prophet and the hereafter. This made me feel good about knowing more deeply about a topic that was discussed. So in general, this usrah brought a lot of good to me because I was able to add more knowledge .

This Usrah also has many interesting activities that can make us to relaxing our minds from thinking about class assignments.

IMPROVMENT:

• I hope that in the coming usrah there will be more activities that involve communication among members so that we can strengthen the relationship between friends as well as be able to make more friends.

Wisdom - when we fear God

For example, we have the knowledge that Allah will punish those who disobey and do not want to obey him

Wisdom is important in worship

Because how do we want to perform ablution without knowing how to perform ablution?

The difference between wisdom and knowledge

Knowledge: there is good and bad

Examples: magic, medicine like drugs

Wisdom: everything is good and nothing is bad.

Intention

It is important to have a goal and achieve it

If there is a good intention, we can get a reward even if we don't do it. If we do, we get a double reward.

How to know the intention is right:

1. sincere

2. priority in intention

3. clear

4. focus

5. consistency

Charity

-do it for God's sake

Our actions will affect the people around us who see our actions.

Example: Malays in the past were Buddhists and Hindus, but after seeing Arabs who have a good attitude, they followed the Arabs' personality.

-understanding the perception of people who are in trouble like in Palestine.

The valid condition of prayer is to cover the aurat

If a person does not wash his clothes then he prays and he does not notice that his clothes are dirty, then after a few days he notices that, so the prayer he performed is still valid.

Come in at prayer time

- believe that it is time for prayer

Face the Qiblat with confidence

If it is in front of the Kaabah, it has to be 100 percent facing the Kaabah

However, if you sit far from the Kaabah, for example in Malaysia, you have to be sure that the direction is facing the Kaabah. In Malaysia, the Qiblat direction is west.

If in an airplane and the Qiblat is at the back, then just intend to face the Qiblat and then pray again facing the front.

Solemn

-In the Al-Quran there are 3 meanings (fear, submission, focus)

-why focus? so as not to be disturbed by outsiders.

In prayer we need to disconnect completely from the world

-The importance of Solemn:

- Surah al-Mukminun verse two. Allah says "Indeed, fortunate are the believers, that is, those who are humble in their prayers".

Purpose of prayer:

-Allah commanded prayer to remember Allah

-values from prayer: Obedience, Jihad, meditation, tawadhuk

- Jihat (effort) is like putting all your efforts in prayer

- Reflect back to yourself

-tawadhuk-humble

solemn way:

- understand the basic reading in prayer

-don't make prayer a mere routine

introduction:

Deep spiritual worship. Change us internally and externally.

Fasting is obligatory for us, and it was also obligatory for the previous people

Purpose of Sawm:

- to gain self-control

- Taqwa: Repent and fear God. Be aware of God's presence in every moment of life.

- protect yourself from God's punishment

- stay away from His prohibitions and carry out His commands

TAQWA:

- believe in God

- do not exceed the limit (exceed the limit)

- fear of God's punishment

Imam Al-Ghazali

- There is a sheikh, Sheikh Junaid

-favoring a student, caring more about him than other students

- Why did he favor the student?

- the next day, he gave each sorg a chicken, and instructed his students to kill the chicken where no one could see them.

- student A returned with a live chicken

- the student spoke, he has not found a place where there is no god

- and this is why student A is loved more by his teacher

- this is taqwa for always remembering Allah

- high piety compared to others

How Sawm is tied to Taqwa

1. control body desires

- exercises that teach us self-control

- Ex: food, drink, sex (basic things for humans) and anything that invalidates Sawm

- when fasting, always remember Allah when hungry

- How does it relate to Sabr?

- teaches us to stay away from harmful and lustful things

- patience in carrying out God's commandments

- patience in abandoning God's prohibition

- patience in the face of trials and tribulations

- Application of Patience in one's life

2. make people dependent on God

- Sawm makes you think about where the food comes from.

- make people aware that they need to always depend on Allah

- if God does not give us strength, we cannot fast

3. show the importance of being grateful

- A way to appreciate and be grateful for the favors/gifts received.

- starving is something poor people have to go through

- understand the hardships of others

- teaches us the pain of other people's lives

- teach the meaning of gratitude

ZAKAT

-Purify (holy)

Purpose: Purify the heart & Purify property

Advantage:

1. get forgiveness and a great reward

2. clean and purify the soul

3. Reach the level of al-birr (goodness) in the presence of Allah SWT.

- surah al-insan (verse 4). To get that, we have to observe our zakat, not just fitrah, al mal as well.

- surah al Imran (verse 92). Not called someone for people who do good deeds as long as they don't take out what they love.

- give something beautiful" and new (that we love). For example, our clothes, which are beautiful", give that one. Or good food". For example, our family eats Faiza Basmathi rice, which is also the same rice that is donated.

- surah al-lail (5-7). About stingy people. He will face hardships in the afterlife. If it is difficult to pay zakat now, you will face hardship in the afterlife.

4. Eliminate sins and mistakes

- the effect of sin is on the heart. That's why it's hard for Khusyu' to pray. Do not underestimate sin. Every sin will come down as a black dot, little by little, over time it will become a hill.

5. Protecting the soul From being stingy

"Surah Al Hasyr 59: verse 9"

-Whoever takes care and preserves himself from being influenced by his miserly habits, then they are successful people.

6. Multiplied reward by Allah SWT.

Working as a farmer is of course difficult, as they have to work all year round but the crops can only be harvested once a year. And so is the parable of the Believers, that is, they should be diligent in doing good deeds and take care of themselves and they will get the benefit only at the end. That is in the hereafter.

There are believers including the Prophets themselves who get test after test and there are people who are very evil and cruel but they get pleasure in the world as well. This is all in God's destiny.

يَا بَنِيَّ اذْهَبُوا فَتَحَسَّسُوا مِنْ يُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ وَلَا تَيْأَسُوا مِنْ رَوْحِ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَا يَيْأَسُ مِنْ رَوْحِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْكَافِرُونَ

"O my children! Go, seek (news) about Yusuf and his brother and do not despair of God's mercy. Verily those who despair from God's mercy, only those who disbelieve." (QS. Yusuf: 87).

This verse explains that each of us is still given breath, meaning there will always be hope. If we find it very difficult to face challenges in life, then hope will come to those who believe. Keep trying your best with prayer, that's the best way to face challenges.

1. Cleansing the Soul from Sin

Hajj and Umrah can cleanse the sins from the soul of Muslims. That way, they again deserve to receive glory from Allah SWT in this world and the hereafter as when they were born.

2. Increase Faith and Piety

Muslims who perform Hajj and Umrah are said to have completed the five pillars of Islam. So that his faith and piety is expected to increase because he has implemented the prescribed Sharia guidelines.

3. Obtaining Rewards Equivalent to Jihad

5. Making Prayers and Requests Answered

People who perform Hajj and Umrah belong to the group of people whose prayers are guaranteed to be answered by Allah SWT.

6. Being able to witness the historic places of Prophet Muhammad SAW

By going to the Hajj and Umrah to the Kaaba located in the city of Makkah, Muslims can see various locations that are the birthplace of the Prophet SAW and the revelation of the Qur'an.

7. Following the example of Prophet Ibrahim AS, Prophet Ismail AS, and Siti Hajar

Pilgrimage to the holy land will remind pilgrims of the struggle of Ibrahim AS and his son who raised the foundation of the Kaaba, then called people to perform Hajj. As well as reminding Muslims of the condition of Siti Hajar when she was carrying her son Ismail AS who at that time was running between Shafa and Marwah hills. Also when he sees an apparition of the devil who is then stoned by him, this becomes the background of the jumrah throwing.

During Hajj and Umrah, Muslims from all over the world gather in the same place, bow and humble themselves before Allah SWT.

Through Hajj and Umrah it is implied that all Muslims are united in a line based on their love for Allah SWT. That way, Muslims can get to know each other.

Through this usrah I was able to add more Islamic knowledge about the history of the Prophet Muhammad and the practices of Muslims.
