You’re rarely back by autumn,

Some say you overstay your welcome,

or swimming, raking leaves!

Will your scarf be gray, like the long days without you?

Will your black, button-eyes brighten, like my days on your return?

Is your nose still carrot-orange? Is it pointy, or is it round?
