Evaluation of my Studio Performance.
Firstly, mine and my partners stimulus is Chance Technique. This made creating a duet easier as if we went wrong during the performance any movement was acceptable. I believe that the things that went well were as follows; at the beginning of mine and Erin's duet we start opposite sides of the studio, because our stimulus was chance technique, it was literally by chance how we started to rehearse in these spaces. I think my strongest points during this performance were the lift and the unison section. In my opinion the Lift was the most difficult section because if I rehearsed the Lift more than 3 times before performing I feel that I would not have had enough energy in order to lift Erin in the performance, also me and Erin are roughly the same weight so I was lifting my own body weight in theory and I also had to make sure I had eaten enough before doing the Lift for the energy. The Unison section went particularly well considering Unison is the hardest to perfect, I mean it wasn't perfect it could have gone a lot better but because we knew the counts and our bodies knew the movement it was easier. A weakness from the performance was a connection between me and Erin. I felt that we didn't include enough eye contact and that then made the performance feel like we wasn't dancing together. It felt as if we were both dancing solos next to each other. This could have been improved by going through the movement and choreographing segments of looking at each other. Another weakness would have to be
