It's ridiculous how a writer can make something like this entertaining. The introduction of a new character Garo is by far the most fascinating part if this season. Garo's growth and development as a person, a "monster" and a villain makes him feel like the true main character of this season. The individual brilliance of the three main characters makes each of them respectable in their own right. The anime cannot be described by anything less than perfect. There is no flaw the writing is exquisite. This was my first experience with a thriller anime and I can't out into world's how good this is. Vikings. The anime has Vikings. What more can be said. This animation based on a manga which is based on a true story portraits multiple intertwining stories surrounding the invasion if the Danes into England. The story, it's pacing, and incredibly written characters makes every second more interesting than the last. Senku continuously fascinates me with his immense knowledge as he attempts to save the entire world. The anime brought about a unique fireman themed story with mostly generic plot points. The story can feel some what confusing and poorly paced throughout it's run yet still the overall plot is still interting enough to keep most coming back. But as time went on I found myself coming back for the macho gym instructor Machio and the humor he brought with his love for muscles and body building. However, that doesn't change the fact that I stilk think it was great. The major plot and and subplots of the story are every well thought out and are quite brilliant. The only problem is this time the anime chose to make the episodes 45 mins long. The style of the anime cannot keep ppl interested for so long and so the story can feel long nd drawn out. The fights  of this season were amazing but pale in comparison to the struggles faced in having to makes life or death decisions that nd seeing the paths the characters chose and whole there suffer because of it. For the first time in forever the franchise has produced an enjoyable anime with likable protagonist and antagonist. Perhaps the most interesting thing about this season is that the main character is brain dead and not the focus of the season. This arc introduces a new art style to the anime which can be appreciated for is simplistic and retro feel if a samurai themed anime.
