         <title>Greek Theatre (525 b.c. - 385 b.c.)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul>
<li>Theatre in Greek literally means “the seeing place”&nbsp;</li>
<li>Thespes, (origin of thespian, a.k.a actor) was the first to act out his singing&nbsp;</li>
<li>Since it was only a couple of actors performing at a time, they used a series of masks to portray all the different characters.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Used linen and hair in their masks (creepy)&nbsp;</li>

<li>Couldn’t use actual names (of real people), in theatre, punishment for it could be as severe as being fed to the lions.&nbsp;</li>
<li>They had more realistic scenarios ( without Gods or Goddesses)&nbsp;</li>
<li>Acting or being an actor wasn’t respectable, was looked down upon and could even be punishable by death.&nbsp;</li>
