The film matches up very well with how I imagined Troy. I imagined Troy to be a fast paced person, who thinks and speaks very quickly. However in the film, Troy seems to express his anger very lightly compared to how I imagined it in the book.

She is a loving mother because she is shown to be caring about her kids and wanting the best for her kids. She is a loving wife because even after Troy cheated on her she stayed with him, not wanting things to go bad for her family.
