Lastly, after the pact was signed between the Russians and Germans, Germans immediately went to war nine days after as they began attacks on Poland.

Both motivations carried by the were very similar to each other. The motivation behind the Germany attacks was to generate more land which results into more German industry resolving the depression from the war and humiliation he faced in world war 1. The Japanese were quite similar to the Germans as they tried to expand by trying to get a hold of Manchuria due to its bountiful resources and massive land.
