Logline: A small town in the Desert, a serial killer and three no so ordinary women. //
Pitch:
This story is about JULIA (40) an eccentric foreigner that arrives at the coastal town of Calepa in the Chilean Atacama Desert to start a new life. She lies, saying that she wants to leave behind a past of abuse. And she is obsessed with a serial killer that attacks around the area.
It is also the story of CANDELARIA (35), a simple Christian policewoman from Calepa who now has to lead the investigation of the last murder committed by the serial killer and the first one for her Station.
It is also the story of EUSEBIA (55) a charismatic and beloved hairdresser who knows everyone's life in town, who hates beggars and who becomes Julia's mentor.
Furthermore, you will meet JORGE, a kinky and nice miner that attracts Julia.
And DETECTIVE URETA, a policeman from the big city who does not believe in Candelaria's abilities to trap the killer.
Candelaria's knowledge of the town will drive her to discover with Eusebia's help that Julia is a killer and to confront her.
And Julia...well Julia will accomplish her real goal there: find out who the serial killer that she admires and that she is copycatting is. And that person is Eusebia.
