It all starts here. see, every family goes through some adversity. For some families, however, the adversities are too many for a child’s stress response. If you’re a parent in this situation, fostering supportive relationships is the best thing you can do to help your kid. Here are some ways to make that happen.

If you have a qualifying, existing medical condition, our Safe for Colorado program offers two kinds of support: (1) help with your energy bills, and (2) extra communications, through additional phone calls and emails, in the event of a planned Public Safety Power Shutoff or unplanned outage. To participate, customers must successfully register in either the Medical Certification Program or Colorado Medical Exemption Program.

• understand their child’s medical and behavioral health care needs.

• access care and schedule appointments with providers.

• coordinate communication across their child’s health care team.

• connect to others who can address food, housing, and transportation needs.

We offer new and gently-used clothing, food, home goods, toys, books, diapers and baby essentials. Our Family Advocates help navigate additional resources for your family.

During your visit, our team will provide an overview of the services available at A Precious Child and guide you through the process.

Your referral is valid for 2 years.

With a referral, you can shop every 6 months (up to 2 times a year).

We bring your students' free meal boxes right to your door with safe, contactless deliveries. We'll drop off their boxes once a week.

We also offer a $500 Grant Program that provides eligible families with five hours of tutoring for every student in their household.
