I ´ ll share that I know a lot of poor people in my country (Guatemala) who don ´ t like to work but they still want to have money. My family is different from the book because my parents always work to bring food to our house and also my mom always makes my little sister her food. I never had an experience with burns.

The story shows a lot of responsibility especially on Jeannette ´ s part because she was very young but she has a mature brain and shows us how she do her things by herself.

“’Good for you…You’ve got to get right back in the saddle. You can’t live in fear of something as basic as fire’” (15). The context of this quote was that Jeannette goes right back to cooking for herself because she has to eat and no one else will make her food. In this quote Jeannette was speaking and this quote stands for how to have responsibility in our life because no one is going to do our things just because.
