They really enjoyed our presence at their school. 
-Another funny memory was when I was reading a Christmas book with the kids and one began stating that he didn't believe in Santa Claus. All the other kids started freaking out about all the letters they wrote him this year. It was very sad but also pretty funny because I had no idea what to do to calm the kids down. It's important to know that the way someone teaches can affect kids learning, using only one type of teaching, between auditory visual and kinesthetic, can hinder a lot of students. Even though I do believe students should be taught traditional values and respect, they should also be able to pick what subject matter suits them best and what interests them. When kids are forced to learn specific subject matter that doesn't interest them for too long, they will begin to not care about school and not want to learn. Also, students who don't get to explore what they're interested in have problems later on in life figuring out what profession they would like to pursue.
