The research is an analysis on the education of Colombia, focused on the acquisition of the English language supported
by using as a basis the analysis of some teaching and learning proposals using ICTs and taking into account one of the
important theories in the acquisition of English and the importance of writing in the process, by the great author Krashen.
Likewise, from the research it is expected to propose an innovative strategy the application of the Krashen theory and the
Tics in times of national quarantine, observing and analyzing even the strategies that are already implemented by some of
the country's public schools.
As expected results, in addition to designing a writting teaching strategy, the possibility is expected to be implemented
locally and regionally in schools that urgently need new tools, including strategies so that together their teachers can give
meaningful learning in the second language writing skill, and even that the teacher is more a monitor of their pedagogical
process. This research focuses on the result being developed in the 5 Krashen hypotheses respecting the learning
process of children, not as an imposition but rather from the natural as if they were learning their mother tongue, even
respecting their silences, guiding Motivation and self-confidence are present in the management of ICT’s and their
progress in communicative competence, not only for success in acquiring L2 but also for developing the basic
competence required by the national government to approve its course while living virtuality from home.

1. Why am I starting this action research project? Is it to solve a problem that has occurred in my classroom? Or is it something else?

There are different needs in Colombian education, one of them in the times of national quarantine to develop learning at
home, is the use of TICS to guide knowledge to students. However, although guiding the writing process of common
courses in the mother tongue results in a favorable and confusing principle, not only because of the student's discipline.
But also the dedication and training of the teacher to develop resources. Now, this process of a new virtual teaching when
having contact with English, raises many questions for me, which is why my research problem needs to be carried out in
order to only investigate but be part of the solution to local education , regional, national and even internationally.
Currently, other countries beat our Colombian education because they have had a deeper understanding of the use
of technologies, not only because they are in constant contact, but their schools have the resources, facilitate teaching,
and are self-demanding to be the best. . This fact causes traditional board and marker education to drop, to the point that
there are schools in the world where they no longer have it. Now, my research is relevant because it is not only to expose
the best strategies that are already raised at the international level but also to know the proposals and actions carried out
by national schools at rural and urban level.
Currently, the use of ICT’s must be one of the key competences of teachers in the 21st century, as stated by Unesco.
And although in some spaces it is limited to the Informatics class, it is necessary that English training teachers use it in
their meetings. However, when applying it, they can use a variety of strategies and theories that at the level of giving an
explanation about the way their students learn, their answers may vary, even if they have not yet had a theoretical training
in the foreign language, and only apply empirically and in the worst case because I touch them. Well, in the Colombian
reality there are teachers who guide all areas of knowledge, even in multigrades at the same time, where their role as
speaker and only counselor happens to be that of monitor, therefore, their teaching process is expected to improve with
the research taking as a basis the linguistic theory of the recognized as the author with the greatest contributions on the
acquisition of the second English language for more than 20 years: Stephen Krashen.

ICTs are fundamental factors in the transformation of the new global economy.

A teaching-learning improvement strategy and plans must also be developed to improve teaching processes within the comprehensive professional teacher training programs themselves.

We can define ICTs as technological tools that are developed to manage information and send it from one place to another, allowing the management of a second language in a globalized world that allows acquisition, production, storage, treatment, communication, registration, ICTs influence the educational and social advancement of the educational community at UNAD.

The implementation of ICTs in the teaching of English must have common characteristics to all of them, which are: IMMATERIALITY, INNOVATION, INSTANTENEITY AND INTERACTIVITY.

Information and communication technologies (ICT) relate the elements and techniques used in the treatment and appropriation of information, especially information technology, the internet and telecommunications.
