Who has inspired me to find my vocation?

My family are good, strong Catholics that always go to mass

and pray, but I feel like my mom, sister and brother-in law have shaped

my path the most. My mom always encourages me to pray and with her I

help at catechesis of the Good Shepherd. My sister and brother-In law always

go to daily mass and are very active in their church community they show

me what a good family should look like.

What I do now for the decernment of my vocation

I do numerous things in my community.

> I helped clean the park nearby my house because

their was litter.

> I also help with my Boy scout troop with cleaning the

nearby areas and working at Villa St. Francis.

I help in the church community.

> I altar serve with is an awesome experiance because i am

so close to Christ and on the altar.

> At Holy Trinity I help at Catechesis of the Good Shepard

The Priesthood

The Priesthood is a special job

that gives the priest the special

opportunity to celebrate mass

and doing the Eucaristic merical.

Father Nathan is a fun, entergetic priest

that is one of the best I know. I feel

a distant calling to the priesthood.

Brothers are members of a variety of religious communities, which may be contemplative or apostolic. "

Contemplative is just as the name sounds, contemplating in

prayer.

Apostolic is of the apostles and is going out and participating in the community.

This vocation is the most common vocation for people to choose. The marriage consist of three persons. God a man and a woman. It is important that God is the centerpiece of the relationship.

My mom is a good catholic who prays

on a regular basis, and goes to mass every week. My sister and her husband are also good role models. they go above and beyond in their church community.

St. Maximilian Kolbe is also an example . He was a monk that was spreading the word of Christ in hard times. The Nazis were killing many Jews and Christians who spoke out against their actions. One day Maximilian got arrested by the Germans and was sent to a consecration camp. there 10 men were forced to die. one man cried out

" I have a family" and Maximilian took his spot where he survived starvation for many days. he shows us that our lives are all used for one great purpose which is Christ's.
