The Wardha scheme was an educational scheme, targeted at primary students. It had students bow to the portrait of Gandhi, abolished religious studies, launched the Vidya Mandir scheme which made study of Hindu Gods and goddesses compulsory for all institutes; they tried brain washing young students to undermine the students love for Islam and become Hindus. The Wardha scheme was an education system introduced by the congress during the 1937-39 elections. The developer of this scheme was Gandhi. This particular education system was devised especially to hurt Muslim sentiments and damage their Islamic jurisprudence, Hindi was made the official language which also expelled the sentiments that were tied to their language Urdu which they had an emotional attachment to. This education was made compulsory for all children between the ages of 8 and 14. All students in a school were made to sing Hindi nationalist song Bande Mataram which sought praise to the Hindu gods which was a direct violation of the core of Islam., they were made to bow towards the potrait of Gandhi. Overall this scheme was an absolute attempt to encourage Hinduism and annihilation of all Muslim sentiments whether they be emotional or religious.
