My mom is a first grade teacher and my dad is an eighth grade Arkansas history teacher. They both adore what they do and I also really took for granted how they had holiday's off with us growing up because we really got a lot of family time with them both being teachers. That's why I want to be able to do the same for my future family. Attached is a photo of us on vacation. She was so passionate about teaching and helping kids whose English was their second language and I have always like to help others. Then I decided that I wanted to help kids, just like she does. In high school, I took an Orientation to Teaching class and I learned that was what I wanted to do.
