Although the products that I saw at the store I happened to go to did not have a difference in pricing, products being marketed towards women have received backlash in the past for pricing the female products at a higher price. These perpetuation of gender stereotypes need to disappear from store shelves. When we are older, we are wise enough to see through the tactics of the marketers; however, young customers such as tweens and teens are more easily influenced.
