• Exposure to solar radiation: Unprotected sun exposure damages the skin, causing cells to mutate. 
• Solar lamp or tanning beds: The radiation of this factors can also cause this cancer.
• People who have fair skin or eye color, should protect themselves more against radiation.
• Family history of skin cancer: The skin cancer is most likely in people with a family history who have had the disease.
• A personal history of skin cancer: People who have had this cancer or some type of injury related to it, are more likely to get the tumor.
• Low immunity: Pleople who have low immunity are more likely to get this cancer.

Squamous cell: Is the second most frequent type. It is more common in men, although it can occur in women of any age.  Is caused by radiation of ultraviolet A and B .This type of cancer is more severe than the " basal cell" and can proliferate more quickly if  left untreated, affecting other parts of the body.

Melanoma cell:  Is the most dangerous type of skin cancer.  The most frequent causes are radiation of ultraviolet and family history. If not treated quickly can be fatal, affecting other organs (like the lung).
