In order to create a board with the rules for safe use of the internet in our school, we discussed with the students their rights and obligations, the advantages and disadvantages of the online environment. They made drawings and inspirational messages on this topic.

Kids love fairy tales, so I told them a short one: the Internet is like a big magical city full of games, fairy tales and videos. But just like in a real city, we have to be careful and follow the rules."

I do not give out personal information online without my parent’s permission.
This means that I never give my name, phone number, house address, e-mail address or location of my home or kidergarden.I will tell my parents when something makes me feel uncomfortable.

В рамките на нашия eTwinning проект децата се запознаха с основите на онлайн безопасността чрез интерактивни и подходящи за тяхната възраст дейности. Денят започна с образователно видео на тема e-security, което представи основните правила за безопасно поведение в интернет по забавен и достъпен начин. След това децата разгледаха специално подготвено образователно табло с 10 илюстрации, всяка от които представяше различен аспект от киберсигурността- от защитата на паролите до разпознаване на фишинг съобщения и опасни линкове. Всяка картина бе придружена от кратък текст, който обясняваше важни понятия чрез герои като цифрово катинарче, супергерой на киберсигурността, дете-детектив, усмихнат рутер и други. Децата с интерес слушаха обясненията, обсъждаха ситуациите и с лекота започнаха да разпознават какво е сигурно и какво не в интернет средата.

eSafety Day at Afroxilia kindergarten Greece

As part of our eTwinning project, we celebrated Safer Internet Day by organizing a variety of interactive and age-appropriate activities with our students. We focused on the importance of protecting personal information, identifying cyberbullying, and using the internet responsibly.

Through stories, discussions, games, and creative tasks like drawing and posters, we helped children understand how to stay safe online. Our goal was to raise awareness and encourage positive digital behavior.

The students were actively involved and had fun while learning valuable lessons about internet safety. Here are some highlights from our school’s eSafety Day!
