Being a working student requires careful balancing every day. My mornings begin early, frequently before the sun comes up, with a brief breakfast, usually just coffee or toast, and a mental list of my daily priorities. I leave for work, where I oversee assignments and due dates while making an effort to maintain concentration in spite of the nagging reminders of impending responsibilities. I hardly have time to relax after my workday is over before I get into study mode. I offer everything I have, usually with the help of a strong cup of coffee, whether I'm attending classes, going over notes, or working on tasks. By nightfall, I'm at my desk fighting exhaustion while I make plans for the following day or review what I've learned. I remind myself that every effort I make is an investment in my future, even though sleep can feel like a luxury at times. It's quite challenging but it helps me keep going, little by little.

It is a Monday, another new week to enjoy my life. I am grateful for another week As I walked across campus, the weight of my backpack felt heavier than usual, each book a reminder of the deadlines that were creeping closer. I had just finished my morning class on English, and now, with a few hours before the next, I found myself at my favorite spot on the quad, the bench by the old oak tree. It’s where I go to clear my mind when the chaos of university life gets overwhelming. The sun was warm on my face, and for a moment, I let myself forget about assignments and exams. I thought about how far I’d come since my first year—how much more confident I was, how much more I had learned about myself and the world around me. Despite the stress, I knew this was the time of my life, and I was determined to make the most of it. I am ready to tackle the world that I am supposed to live in and I am here to have the time of my life.

One summer evening, I decided to go for a walk in the park near my house. The weather was warm, and the air smelled like fresh grass. As I walked along the path, I could hear kids laughing and playing in the distance. I stopped by the lake and watched the water sparkle in the last bit of sunlight. A soft breeze started blowing, making the trees rustle, and for a moment, everything just felt calm and peaceful. It was one of those moments where time seemed to slow down, and I felt totally at ease.

When I wake up in the morning, the first thing that I do is turn my alarm off. And then, I get out of bed, go downstairs and heat up water. While heating up the water, I use this time to cuddle with my two furbabies. I use hot water in taking a bath in the morning. Because it is so cold. After, I dry myself and get into my uniform. I, then pour food into the bowls of my two lovely dogs. After setting down their bowl, I stay for a bit to make sure that my furbabies eat their food. I then pep myself up. And then go to school. I take utility vehicles in going to school, because the fare of those vehicles is cheap. After the school day is done, I go straight home. The first thing I do, when I get home is cuddle with my furbabies. Then, check for schoolworks. After that, I work on my part-time job. Clean myself up, and go to bed.
