He had found a new girlfriend and had two more kids. I could go multiple weeks or months without seeing him and when I did it was only for a weekend. He was constantly moving around and wasn't really there to support me or my brothers. When my mom got remarried, I was introduced to a man that was there all of the time and both him and mom had started a new parenting style with two parent figures in the picture now. It took time to adjust living with him and how I could approach certain subjects and family life. I soon learned how to adjust to the new school and making friends was easier than expected. I had brand new neighbors and new hangout places. My parents took extra time to make sure me and my brothers were introduced around so that our school and community life would be easier. It took a while for me to actually meet people my age but once I did it helped me adjust better. When we just moved in the space was very tight and as we got older, we tried to make it as comfortable as possible.
