Like the thought of understanding things not physically present in our realm, transmission establishes and justifies the importance of music in successfully translating the incommunicable features of the human psyche. Transmission is the most importance part of musical language, and I believe that transmission is the reason why humans use music in order to express a message or emotion; emotions are often too complicated to express with only words, and therefore transmission allows artists to express themselves without the confines of language. In my opinion, transmission is the most important part of music, because I feel that transmission separates music from a collection of sounds. Transmission eternalizes the importance of music in human life and emphasizes the idea the artist expresses to its audience—meaning and word surpasses the physical words spoken. There are some things that cannot be spoken into existence.
