when philosophy is used in an Ece center there is also mostly a teacher's own idea or belief /innovation that is added. so, the image that is communicated is that the teacher modifies a certain theory to help it fit better to an individual student or to an Ece center. 
my own image of an Ece center is, even though there are philosophies and theories on the method of how to teach a child we should be willing to modify it or change it to what's best for the child. because not every child is not the same and they shouldn't have to be.

as it is stated in the (Taggart, 2014) when facing with the situation that needs compassion the teacher should demonstrate as stated "Compassionate pedagogy presents an image of the practitioner who, on the one hand, is politically astute and, on the other, flexible and dialogical. As a kaiako, our ideas, beliefs, the cultural background can influence our teaching; however, a Kaiako should not let such influences affect our teaching. it is important to have a natural thinking while teaching. as stated in the (Critical Theories, n.d.) some ways to not let our own identity or our own background affect our professional early childhood career

• "Why am I/we teaching this?
• What/who determines what is normal/acceptable?
• Whose voice/perspective is missing here?
• Who benefits from this practice/decision?
• Who is mostly affected by this practice/decision?" by a kaiako asking themselves such questions they can keep in check of their influences and etc and make sure to keep a natural sense of teaching method and interactions with the children.

Nowadays, people in every country are very diverse. Ece centers are filled with children from different cultures and ethnicities. So, it's essential to address all these differences and make them feel like they are a part of the group. Teachers should try and connect with the kid's community and family if the teachers are not aware of the culture. So teachers need to introduce activities and lessons introducing and teaching about the differences present in society and how to embrace them. ]]> 2022-10-19 07:43:22 UTC https://padlet.com/kvij825/h4hvt9tgsgergqvb/wish/2346569365 kvij825 https://padlet.com/kvij825/h4hvt9tgsgergqvb/wish/2346616194 I once had a group project in school and my team consisted of four people. while doing the project one of my teammates continuously was not willing to share the work. not being motivated to do any work. so as the deadline was nearing and she had almost not participated even a bit I as the team leader was forced to give a complaint to the teacher asking to remove her from our team. but before I was going to do that I had to tell her what I was going to do and what I was taking such extreme measures. 
I was not very nice during the conversation and only later found out that she was having some family issues at home and was not comfortable talking about it to us. 
if I got to redo the conversation I would be more careful, more sensitive, and more respectful. 
so I think when communicating with someone from a different background you should be very sensitive and respectful towards them cause you don't know their situation and you should be careful to not hurt or offend them.

It is the kaiako's responsibility to provide those to the children during their time in the Ece sector. 
one example of an activity that promotes well-being is Kaiako respect Māori beliefs by carrying out everyday caregiving practices in line with cultural protocols. To enable partnership: 
1. people involved should clearly understand their respective roles in the partnership. 
2. teachers and parents should be willing to work and adjust to provide a better education. 
3. a better connection helps build a strong relationship which allows the whole education to be a better experience for the child, and it does make a difference. 
4. engaging families and cultural aspects also help with a better partnership between both parties. 
There's only one commitment a teacher needs to make, and that is the willingness to do what is best for the child and the desire to want to provide the best education and learning process for the child because the child is the most critical person in this whole thing.
