         <title>Legal liability and F2F services</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Health Professional Associations and AHPRA have emphasised the personal responsibility of health professionals to manage the risk of COVID transmission. &nbsp; Practice suggestions have included minimising F2F sessions unless absolutely necessary, and using telehealth if full infection control procedures are not in place (eg: these may include full PPE - N95 mask, goggles, faceshield, gloves, suit, seeing clients in from a separate room, etc.)&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>Health professionals have been made aware that they need to know the vaccination status of every client to be able to manage that risk appropriately.&nbsp; (eg for many this includes not doing any F2F with unvaccinated clients) &nbsp;<br>Health professionals employing staff, team leaders, etc have also been reminded of their duties under workplace safety laws to ensure risk management and infection control procedures are in place to keep their employees safe.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>Can we please have some comprehensive advice about our personal professional (and departmental) legal liability if our staff conduct F2F sessions, for example, without knowledge of clients (parents, students) vaccination status, and without full PPE and infection control in place?  </div>]]></description>
