This means that the amount of air that is able to be forced in and out within one breath increases. This just means that more oxygen is able to enter the body and go to the working muscles so that the working muscles can work more efficient and harder.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Capillaries surround small air sacs, called alveolar, inside your lungs that absorb the oxygen you breathe in. The more exercise you do the more alveolar are activated to absorb more oxygen More alveolar can supply more oxygen to working muscles and tissues throughout your body. Pneumonia occurs when fluids in your lung prevent alveolar from exchanging gases. Having more alveolar can suppress the effects of pneumonia for longer by reducing the proportion of alveolar that are affected by this disease. Emphysema happens when alveolar walls break down and slowly reduce the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide in your lungs. Regular exercises may help slow the progression of emphysema by increasing the number of&nbsp; alveolar.<br><br><strong>Mucus <br></strong>Exercise makes you inhale more oxygen and breath faster. Aerobic exercise in&nbsp; exposes your lungs to strong and constant flows of air. Mucus build-up can decrease&nbsp; your lung capacity and lead to bacterial infections. According to a 1997 “European Respiratory Journal” article by the University of Ulsan’s Wong Don Kim, too much mucus in your lungs is connected with higher mortality, may block airflow and increases your risk of infections.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Diffusion happens in the alveoli where high pressure diffuses into low pressure and is the exchange of oxygen for carbon dioxide. By increasing the rate of diffusion it allows for more to be pushed around the body to the working muscles and more carbon dioxide to be removed. This will help your overall performance as more oxygen can be transported to the muscles so you can keep going for longer and more carbon dioxide will be removed.</div>]]></description>
