It is a serious environmental concern since it can result in the loss of biodiversity, damage to natural habitats, disturbances in the water cycle and soil erosion. Deforestation also has a huge impact on  climate change and global warming.
deforestation includes clearcutting or the removal of the forest or the use of trees and natural beauty and then transform it into a non-forest use. It also involves converstion of forests to farms and ranches and other urban uses. And the most deforestation occurs in tropical rainforests.
