<title>Students are so anxious to give you an answer that they just see numbers and try to use them in order to do what they think is expected of them! </title>

<title>This is a teaching/learning moment! While some people see this as a frustrating video, it can help a teacher decide how to personalize a lesson for students. This is a great task to help determine where students are having misconceptions and based on response to the question students can be grouped and moved into the next task.</title>

<title>I see this all the time in elementary during our module application problems in the beginning of the year before I teach them exactly how to begin solving word problems. I love to see their progression through out the year and once they think they are confident with solving them it&#39;s fun to through one of these in the mix!!</title>

<title>This is a struggle with many kids in math. They think every problem must have some sort of solution and the numbers should make sense. So, they just jumble them around until thy have an answer.</title>

<title>This completely spoke to me and reminded me of so many of our math classes! We try to push students to explain HOW to solve problems and plan their strategies rather than rush to an answer. A definite challenge for us as teachers and work in progress! </title>

<title>HOW did you get a video of our math lessons? Asking kids &quot; How do you know?&quot; or &quot;why?&quot; is foreign to many students. Getting them to take risks and build that strong foundation only helps them solve problems as they go through life. It is a skill to be built for sure!</title>
