All three sections working together to litter pick around Ellington Park

The girls planted herbs, pea and beans and lots of flowers.

The guides even built 2 hedgehog homes, one will be staying at the allotments and the other is going in the church garden.

The girls really enjoyed seeing the new garden and being able to help.

To finish the girls got to go onto our Girlguiding plot and eat apples, blackberries, grapes and tomatoes.

We had a lot of fun, well done girls!

BUCFP is an amazing charity which provides practical support and advice to those in poverty or poor living conditions, helping families and those on low incomes.

The children had fun helping to clean and tidy, as well as creating artwork for centre users and making some tasty treats. Everyone had a great time fulfilling their promise!

The Guides are passionate about British wildlife! Believing they should be loved and well protected by all. 

These are key aspects of Folly Wildlife Rescue.

Folly Wildlife, rescues and rehabilitates wildlife from West Kent and East Sussex, treating and hand rearing around 3,500 animals each year. 

They have a great need for donations so the Guides have created British wildlife themed products to sell locally and raise money! 

They have also collected wet animal food as the rescue always needs that!

lodge care home and talking to them about what is like to be in Guiding today

They also wrote letters that will be distributed to a local care home in the hopes of combatting some loneliness and maybe making some new pen-pal friends!

Held a non uniform evening supporting the Waltham Forest Pets Foodbank. Donations were used to purchase food and treat items as needed by the foodbank.

Each unit spent an evening litter picking near their meeting place. This included the local streets, park area and The Green which is a designated conservation area. Their efforts were rewarded with some lovely comments by neighbours who really appreciated all their help to make our local area clean and tidy

Supported the Love South Chingford Supporters Group in tending the local flower beds and planters that the LSC gardening group have set up, getting rid of any rubbish in them and also helping with weeding, etc.
