Our school has two headquarters , one for the "biennio" and the other one for the "triennio" .
The administrative office in the second headquater is the information point for students and teachers; it is formed by some people overseen by the vice principal, who can justify absences and delays.
Another task of the administrative office is the management of school trips and extra classes activities.

There are a lot of ampoule, bekers, scales and thermometres. We usually go to the lab once a week after studying the topics in our class. When we use it  first of all we take the useful tools, then we do the experiments and at the end we write a report for our teacher which is evalueted. The most interesting are about music, theatre, learning new languages and outdoor activities.
We have theater classes in Italian and also in English during the afternoon, once a week.
The course ends with a final show and this year we are staging the musical “Grease”.
As regards learning new languages, we do stage abroad, especially in the UK every year.
Usually the departure is scheduled for February, it lasts a week in which we stay in a local family.
As we live in a seaside city and we can reach the mountains in 45 minutes we can do some outdoor activities which are the “snow project” in which we spend a week skiing, and the “sailboat project”, which provide boat trips once a week.

There are eight tables with a minimum one plug each, for the electric tools. The lab have an interactive white board which is really important for the teacher to write notes, share images and videos with us. There are three big lockers full of tools such as: bekers, technical balances, microscopes and chemicals for all our experiments. The science lab is the right place in the school where the students can experiment what they study in the classroom in a concrete way.]]> 2017-11-25 08:46:35 UTC https://padlet.com/fuggitivi/h485eh1r7lzd/wish/210009330 fuggitivi https://padlet.com/fuggitivi/h485eh1r7lzd/wish/210076303 Our school is called Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei and it is in Pescara (Abruzzo region, central Italy) a small city with about 100.000 inhabitants, very close to the Adriatic sea.  It offers a broad education, which aims to prepare students for future University studies. It confers a Scientific High School diploma for both ordinary and Applied Sciences curricula. 
Around 1500 students attend the school and it is well equipped with physics, science and IT labs, an interactive whiteboard in each classroom. The school is located in two different buildings quite close each other. You can see one of them in the picture below.
