These acts made it illegal to sell weapons to other countries but were eventually changed to allow the United States to sell weapons if the country provides its own shipping and transportation. </div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

The dropping of these bombs happened to prove a point to Japan and try to put the war to an end. Japan ending up surrendering and the war ended soon after the bombings. </div>]]></description>
