All photos published in this PADLET will be published under the CC0 Creative Commons Public Domain license. By publishing a photo here all participants agree to putting their photo in the public domain under that license.  Please put the words "CC0 Creative Commons"  on your photo.
-Number of entries:  ONE per participant.
- NO FACES or recognizable people in the photo please.
- Caption length: Maximum words allowed:  
  • Basic:  15 words
  • Intermediate:  12 words
  • Advanced: 7 words
  • C1:  5 words
Any photos that exceed the caption length will be eliminated from the competition.
- Please indicate your FULL NAME and level of English (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, or C) at the top of the Padlet entry. 
- Voting:
A. This Padlet will be made public vía a link on the EOI website.  Anyone in the educational community can  vote on their favorite photo(s) and caption(s) vía a system of "likes" by clicking on the heart at the bottom of each photo.  The 3 photos that receive the most "likes" will then be considered by the jury.
B. There will be a jury comprised of the two teachers who accompanied the group to Sweden. This jury will recount the "likes" received by each photo. From the 3 photos receiving the most "likes", the jury will determine the winner based on the originality and aesthetic quality of the photo and the originality and linguistic quality of the accompanying caption. In case of a tie, the jury will ask a member of the English Department to cast their vote. 
- Winner: The  photo that is among the top 3 receiving the most "likes" and that receives the jury's final vote will be declared the winner.
- The jury can disqualify any entry that does not comply with the rules of this contest.
Deadlines:
  • Uploading photos:  May 1, 2018 15:00h  
  • Voting vía "likes" May 3-10, 2018
  • Jury's review and decision:  May 11-13.
  • Announcement of winner vía EOI webpage: May 14, 2018
  • Prize: No later than May 20, 2018
Prizes: The winner will receive a token prize and have their photo published on the school website, social media accounts, and in the EOI Hallway.   
- Participation in this contest means acceptance of all of its  rules.
-The jury's decision is final.
