Happy Teacher appreciation week! This is my first year at OVCA and all of the teachers were extremely welcoming! Every teacher I've had at K12 have been so kind and are definitely hard workers. I can see the passion each teacher has when they are teaching the students and I know sometimes that can be hard to do. Each teacher is so unique in the ways they teach and the person they are, but all of them have truly been a blessing to me. I really do appreciate all of the teachers I have right now and can't express the amount of happiness they all individually bring me.

Every person enrolled in school all have one thing in common: they are all influenced by their teachers in one way or another, whether for better or for worse. Since I've been here, I believe all of the staff members have been exceptional in this regard. Every time I go into a class, the teachers are always ready to help. They care about their student's mental health and academic needs, and they're always prepared to answer all of their questions. Teachers put in so much work to make their classes a unique and inviting learning environment.
So... Thank you. Thank you for all that you do. Keep changing lives, as ever slowly as it takes. ^w^

I love all of my teachers here. Each one of them makes school so much better. Mrs. Dale makes English class so much more enjoyable. I really love English now and have read 7 books this year, because I realized how much I enjoy reading if I find the right books. Mrs. Chambers always makes math fun and I love the music she plays. She always has a positive attitude and makes me excited to do math now. Dr. Walck has taught me things that I never knew existed. In all my 4 years here with OVCA I have never had a bad experience with a teacher. Each and every single one of them has been helpful, kind, patient, and a hoot to be in class with. I thank all of them for being there to help me excel in my academics. A special shoutout to Mrs.Vandenameele who is so fun and understanding. Her ability to put herself in our (the students) shoes and make learning not feel like a chore makes her great at what she does. I absolutely love all of my teachers. They are all so patient and they make class fun and nice to go to. My algebra teacher Mr. Chambers is one of my favorite math teachers. She's so nice and she makes learning algebra not so hard and everything sticks. My english teacher Mrs. Cox has been through a lot yet shes still so chipper and upbeat. She sets the tone in the classroom which in turn makes me upbeat too. My chemestry teacher Mrs. Cox is always smiling and is a ray of sunshine. As hard as chemestry can get she takes it slow and makes sure you understand and she teaches it with such ease and it makes me understand too. My history teacher Mr. Gregg is so chill. He is a calm and collected person but he still a lot of fun too and his classes are almost at your pace and as he says "the answers arent free just cheap" and I love that. My game design teacher Mrs. McGehee is a pretty all round good teacher in every good teacher quality. My PE teacher Mrs. Babcock is such a lovely person and teacher. A few years back I knew her just for her social hours and even then I liked her a lot. I didnt want PE as my elective but I am very glad I got it because she makes PE fun and vibrant. Shes a GREAT teacher and I wouldnt want no one else as my PE teacher. And finally my NHS teacher Mrs. Wyers. She is such a sweetheart and I love going to meetings and social hours. I would love to have her as another teacher because she's a great but I'll take NHS. I love OVCA and I love all the teachers! (Sorry for the big wall of text I wanted to persoannlly thank all my teachers!) - M Stewart

I love to learn and all the teachers have done the best they can. For that I thank them. I will move on to the next year knowing what I know because of them. One day I'll move into college still using what they have taught and I'll remember them. I'll remember Mrs. Cox, one of the nice people you'll EVER meet teaching me English. I'll remember Mrs. Grunewald teaching me math (which I hate), she made it easy to understand and so fun. I'll remember Mr. Gregg being Mr. Gregg (lol) he made history easy and SO FUN. It was a class of learning yes but also of jokes, it made it easy to remember and understand. I'll remember Mrs. McGehee being so nice and teaching me code (VR). I hate to code but once again the teacher made it easy and fun to learn. For that they all have my thanks. -SMB

I want to thank not only my incredible teachers but all of them. When I first enrolled in OVCA in 6th grade, I was at an all-time low. I barely had any self-esteem and confidence, but with the help of my teachers and the fantastic people here, I was slowly able to build up my confidence and self-esteem. Now I'm in 10th, and I want to say I truly appreciate all of my teachers and the teachers at OVCA because even though I haven't had all of them, the teachers at OVCA teach from the heart and are always available to help not only academically but will talk to us and help us with our personal lives. So once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do.

Thank you to all my teachers this year and of last year as well. Without you guys I wouldn't have anyone to turn to for the most part. For this year my teachers were all amazing but the ones that stood out to me were these 3. Mrs Chambers is my Algebra 2 teacher, and even though I hate algebra 2, I love the teacher. She is so passionate about it and focused on helping her students succeed. She also lives in the same city as me so I see her around the town or if I am at work. She also was there for my ACT and state testing and encouraged me. Mrs Dale is my American Literature teacher, and even though I don't know whats going on all the time in her class, I enjoy her teachers and how hard she pushes for us to finish. And as well as Mr Walck, I enjoy History the most in general, but He always helping us learn in the right way possible. During ACT Prep, He did a crash course type of thing for us and I learned a lot from that. Honorable mention is Mr Gilmore, Even though I never had him before, I sometimes get scheduled for his class and he is super fun and a whole comedian with my sense of humor. I wished I had him as my teacher :)

This year has been torment and back, I seriously don't know how it would be without all of my teachers that don't just care about my grade but really just me. These teachers kindness really does make me cry all the time. I don't know how many times this year i've felt like I couldn't take it but ten I wake up to Mrs.V`s encouraging words.I really am so speechless ....this teacher needs a raise ..... she has held me up so much this year. I also wanted to say Mr. F is such a amazing teacher as well!
