If my measurements were more accurate I would have gotten better results but it was still fun to try!
I cut open the bottle  and stuffed the top with cotton. Then I  added “characoal” sand and gravel. Honestly if I had more gravel I would have used it but I just picked up rocks 😂 Then I  added the muddy water  which smelled awful. I was kinda afraid of the cotton would fall when it get wet so I tied a tissue to the mouth of the bottle to secure it, and I put some large pebbles on the fine sand layer to not to distrb it when I pour the water.
