In Episode 1, "The Alibi", the main suspect Adan got a letter from a former classmate at Woodlawn. Adnan got this letter a little while after he got put into jail for the murder of Hae Min Lee, his ex-girlfriend. In that letter, Asia explains that she and Adnan talked in the afternoon when Hae went missing. If Asia was telling the truth, it could prove Adnan's innocence. It would be physically impossible for him to be speaking with Asia and then for Adnan to be at the scene of the crime in the time frame given.

In Episode 2, Hae's wrote in her diary about her and Adnan's relationship. Other things are written in there because it is a diary but most of it is about how good Adnan was to her as her boyfriend. She wrote stuff about their fights but every couple struggles a little bit. Even after the negative pages that she wrote she would still go on to explain how good of a partner he was. Adnan's innocence should be a obvious example that Adnan is not a murdering monster like he is painted out to be, he was a good boyfriend and he always had a spot in his heart for hae.

Episode 3

Adnan's friend Saad stated that both of them had no idea where Leakin Park was and also that it was even a place. They knew that there was a park in the middle of the city but they had never been and no one talked about it. This helps show Adnan's innocence even more because how would he bury Hae's body in a place he had no idea was a thing?

The cell tower call record doesn't add up with Jay's story at all. All the calls that Jay made never pinged were he said they were. In court no one brought up this factor, which is a bit suspicious. This 100% helps prove Adnan may be innocent and there is something that jay is hiding.

Episode 4

Jay and Adnan aren't even that good of friends. What would make Adnan go to this person that he has only hung out with a couple of times to help him hide a dead body? Jay's story changes more than a hand on a clock when asked to restate the story. No one can get a straight-cut story out of Jay so this helps show that Adnan may be telling the truth and someone else is lying.
