  • You are expected to arrive no later than 0930. In planning your arrival time, keep in mind that although the event coordinator requests priority handling from the Tower for all participating aircraft, in years past, some holds and delays were common.
  • No reservations are required to land at LGA on Saturdays.
  • It is strongly suggested that you file and open a VFR (or IFR) flight plan and put "Kids day Event Participant" in remarks to minimize delays.
  • See http://www.fly.faa.gov/ecvrs/ for further information on non-scheduled landing slots at LGA Sunday - Friday.
  •  Also recommended: request flight following as soon as practicable so that a radar handoff can be made to New York Approach and then LGA Tower.
  • Your destination on the field in general terms is west of Rwy 4/22 and south of Rwy 13/31.
  • After landing, look for the "Follow Me" truck. If you don't see one, ask LGA Ground for a progressive taxi to the Kids Day event. At the event you will be directed where to park.
  • When ready to depart LGA after the event, contact Clearance Delivery before calling Ground.
