Obsession with Country Music

I am constantly attending different country music concerts. I even sometimes travel to different cities to see different artists.

This year I have already seen Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, and Carrie Underwood. With about 7 more concerts planned for this summer.

My favorite singers are Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan and many many others.

I just recently graduated from Canisius College, where I received my Bachelore of Arts in Adolescent Education and Mathematics.

I choose to puresue my mathematics degree along with getting my teaching degree. I wanted to challenge myself in something that I enjoyed. This allowed me to understand what it means to struggle in a class that I have always been good at.

My career goal is to be able to use different forms of technology in my mathematics classroom. I hope to be able to use these different forms of technology to successfully engage students in their learning.

Traveling

I love to travel to different places.

I have been on three different cruises, where I was able to explore different caribbean islands.

My favorite islands that I have been able to visit are St. Thomas, and Labadee, Haiti.

I am currently looking forward to going on a Trip to Disney in June with my best friend to celebrate finishing grad school!

Megan Hertel

The youngest of three, I have an older brother and an older sister. 

I technically have two dogs, but my sisters dog is also living with us. 

I grew up and live in Tonawanda NY.

I have worked for BJ's Wholesale Club for four years, where I am a Member Service Supervisor.

I am in my first year of teaching Mathematics at Niagara Catholic Jr/Sr High School. I absolutely love what I am doing and going to work everyday.
