Residents of Congo are the people that originally came from Congo before king Leopold, after king Leopold came to Congo the residents were used for labor and/or sold into slavery. If they'd refused Leopold's army were forced to kill them and bring their right hand in order to show they did the job, or they would just cut off their hands from the people of Congo regardless if they were men,women or children. Although the people of Congo are seen as the victims they're accused of being the ones responsible for the eaths of 10,000,000 Congolese people.
