         <description><![CDATA[<div>Before the Japanese Occupation, the Japanese Language was not taught in schools in Singapore. During the Japanese Occupation,Japanese language was compulsory in all schools in Singapore.<br>Source 1 tells me that that the Japanese taught the locals Japanese during the Japanese Occupation which took place during 1942-1945, Despite race or religion.Locals had to practice Japanese and speak Japanese. <br>Source 1 tells me that  that teenagers in Singapore had to learn the Japanese Language during the Japanese Occupation and  This source tells me that all races having to learn the Japanese Language.Source 2 also tells me that the locals had been educated by the Japanese to obey them.Hence, lives of teenagers have been affected and changed <br><br></div>]]></description>
