At West Ridge the choir sang the National Anthem and our band played a few songs. Our cheerleaders performed. We had a couple competitions between the grade levels. Like wrapping teachers with toilet paper as much as possible in a certain amount of time. And, making as much sound as possible. It's really fun!

While you wait for the actual pep rally to start, the band plays loud and you can hardly hear what the person says just a foot away. The cheerleaders are good, and the flyers are mostly cheerful. Afterwards, when you’re getting your backpack, you can tell the pep rally got everyone riled up.

All the grades get to yell as loud as they can but the 6th graders always win because they are the most excited because it’s their first pep rally. They’re a lot of fun and the sports teams all get a little shout out and the cheerleaders do cool flips and things. They’re really fun.

I am part of the band, so I get to perform and that makes it extra special. You also get to hear from some of the WRMS’ sports teams, and watch the coaches get mummified, or pied in the face! We had a pep rally recently it was really fun my favorite part was either the toilet paper challenge or the scream off or when the cheerleaders performed. My friend Molly is a cheerleader. The band and quoir performed. The toilet paper challenge was each grade wrapped 2 teachers in a bunch of toilet paper. We won! And the scream off each grade screamed as loud as they can is fun until the next day I had no voice. But overall they are really fun!!

So kind of makes sense that a Pep Rally would be really fun. And another reason I like Pep Rallies are that I’m in Varsity choir and so this year we were given the honor of singing at the Pep Rally. And that was SO fun! And another thing that I got to do was, wrap up Miss. Hotchkiss and Coach Spraberry in toilet paper for a game. 7th grade won!! Of course. And I also enjoy hearing the band play because they sound really good.

Announcers talk about our sports, our band and choir performs, and we all have fun. Our pep rallie had a challenge in it. There were 3 teams who had to make a teacher look like a mummy in 5 minutes. The best group won...They were 7th grade. Overall pep rallies are very fun and exciting.

The band plays and takes up about a fourth of the stands and everyone else sits with their grade level. 

A few people from each grade are selected to represent their grade and it's usually a type of game of "who can do this activity the fastest"

Pep rallies are usually very loud and we make a lot of noise. The cheerleaders do stunts and flips to bring up school spirit and it works!
