My name is Umay. I am a 16 year old, 10th grade student studying at Cezeri Green Technology. I am a vocational student in the renewable energy department, and as you might guess, my biggest passion is about sustainable solutions for the environment and humanity. In the future I see myself as an urban planner who structures the cities with equal, safe and accessible opportunities for all society via smart solutions for everyday problems.

To introduce myself deeper, I would like to state some facts about me. My name “Umay” is the name of the ancient goddess/soul who is responsible for the protection of mothers, babies and animals, and I believe that is why I love children and nature a lot. If I was a colour I think I would be yellow due to my positive energy and certainly entertaining jokes. I have hobbies such as playing the classical guitar and painting cute doodles alongside learning different cultures and languages.

This is all from me; however, I wonder a lot about all your goals and hobbies. Can’t wait to get to know you better, and it is a great pleasure for me to be a part of this team that will change the game of gender equality with its great works.

What else can I talk about? It could be movies or music. I don't like watching too many movies and TV series. Instead, listening to songs interests me more. But if I had to choose a movie or TV series, I would choose animated movies. I know they're childish, but they make me happy. Guess what! I love baggy clothes because they are very comfortable. A characteristic thing about me is that I like the color green, because it reminds me of nature.

Did you know that in my free time I usually paint landscapes with acrylics? I Love painting the sunrise. I was wondering if you know about a book called “The Idhun Memories”. It is a fantasy, action book. I recommend it to you especially if you are keen on fantasy. I’m really into a movie called “inside out”. I like that movie because I identify myself  with the protagonist and I also like the plot. The movie is about a teenager called Raley and she moves to another place. She has to learn how to let go of her friends and culture to be happy in the place that she is living now. 

In the future, I don’t know what I want to do. I could be an artist because it is something that I like to do, but I’m not sure about it. I flew a lot of times. When I was 4, I went to Italy and also to Spain. So I went 4 times on a plane. And counting the last time when I came to live in Spain, I flew a total of 5 times. I’d like to travel to Japan because there are a lot of variety of anime parks and it would be really fun to go!
