I leave feedback questions on their responses and in small groups will make them facilitators to utilize their strengths within their peer groups.

I convey the performance through conversation with student, if the CFU is completed and has all the info needed I will explain why CFU was done well. If info is needed I will give the CFU back and address things that are missing.

Students can see how they did on the CFU by checking their comments and feedback on google classroom, written feedback, or verbal feedback. Once data is collected and reviewed, refresher questions are added into my presentations for the following day. This way, I can come back to ideas and topics that students did not meet mastery on.

I would convey to students how they performed on the CFU by having a conversation while they complete the CFU with feedback on their work. If students have misconceptions, then having someone there to point out the mistake live will help to address them making the same mistake again. I have noticed that more students achieve mastery after I recognize a mistake and help them to see the misconception.

A next step I take when target students do not demonstrate mastery is to provide them with verbal/written feedback that would push them to mastery. A lot of the times I ask students questions for comprehension and then I use questioning to push their thinking.

Error analysis:

For example: Display students' work anonymously and have a discussion with students based on the anchor charts, notes or content knowledge to identify what did they students did correctly or incorrectly.
