The fact that the color of someones skin can change everything and go as far as even getting them killed for simply existing is something that still doesnt sink in for me. The only difference that there is when someone is a different skin color doesnt go beyond their appearence. it doesnt mean they are dangerous, a threat, or affiliated with a gang. The fact that people that may look different, or might seem really different aren't as different as you might think. I cannot say that we are all the same, because we are not, we are all unique, but not so different  that we need to hurt each other(specifically police) because of there skin color, religion or sexual orientation. People that want to hurt someone, only because they think of them as less, because they are different is a serious prejudice our world has been fighting, and I can't say we have been fighting for very long, relative to the time slavery and racism has existed. What's stopping us is the fact that there are still people that believe they are worth more than someone, but people can see that we are fighting, people crowding streets for the end of racism.
