The source is useful because we can make some assumptions on how people used to hunt or catch prey/animals. It also shows that people had the skills/knowledge to make and use harpoons. The source shows that they were used because there is blood on the ends which lets us make assumptions. The harpoons are also sharp and are jagged which means the prey were easier to catch However this source is limited because there isn't a caption to help introduce the source or to give us extra information. There also aren't examples of how the harpoons were used. Therefore this source is useful to a limited extent because it shows what they used to hunt or catch prey.

The source is useful because it shows that the whale bone harpoons have all been carved and shaped differently, so that when they're hunting or attacking different animals they can use the different types for the specific animal. From this source we can see that each of the weapons is a different colour and shape, this could be because they have been used already to kill animals or they are just older compared to some of the other harpoons. However this source is limited as it doesn't show us how they can be used and what animals then can hunt them with which gives us a disadvantage to find out lots more important information for our explanation of this source therefore this source can be useful to a limited extent because it shows us how it looks like and how old or new it is, also showing us if it has been used and if it's good.

✨By Lar✨
Source A reveals that archeologists use many different type of equipment when digging. For example, a bucket to collect items. A brush to clear away the dirt.

Archeologists also use different techniques when trying to find pieces of history. for example, you can see that the two men position themselves on their stomachs, while balancing . From this source we can tell that the archeologists are really careful not to break any artefacts

The source is useful because it show how the whale bone they used was need to hunt. The thing that was interesting about the whale bone was that is was carved so in means that they has the technology to carved wepons. The other thing that I like is that it has a grip at the back of the whate bone and how it's spikes at the at the front and a stain of blood on it which mean it was useful at hunting animals and which mean that people in the past were really good hunters

Source A revealed that archeologists use a lot of equipment that is small to prevent them from digging up the find of the century. They always work in teams to make the job easier and if they need help they can ask one another for help so what they are doing does not fail. They don't walk in the hole because that prevents them from stepping on the artefacts or fossils. From source A the reader can learn how archeologists can do there job and what not to do
