The purpose of this event is to inform you about some of the research that is being undertaken by this dynamic, interdisciplinary team of researchers at UCD. Through our Research Galleries on Day One we hope to take you on a journey that demonstrates the important contribution that our research makes to improving healthcare. This event is organized around IRIS’s three main research themes: Equity and Access, Culture and Organisation, and Quality and Outcomes. We provide insights into the wide variety of methodologies we are using to gather and analyse data, and to disseminate research findings. Our valued partnerships with many collaborators – healthcare staff, patient advocates, patient organisations, healthcare managers and policy makers and other researchers– are also evidenced in our work.

It is our commitment to nurturing and expanding these important collaborations that has inspired the development of this event. This Padlet provides a platform that not only gives a snapshot of our current research but can also be accessed at any point in the future to find out about new projects as they develop.

For those of you who are interested in working with us or deepening your existing collaborations with the IRIS team, we are also planning a series of design workshops that will delve into some important challenges in healthcare delivery and invite ideas on how our research can address these challenges. The first 3 of these will take place early in 2022 and will focus on
