From the real-life art of the animals and their habitats to the art that was in the description, to the statues I saw, it was so beautiful all around!
I did see interactions with children! They were so engaged naturally with the petting zoo habitat. They also were extremely engaged with the other habitats they got to walk through. But the best engagement I saw was in the petting zoo.
I did notice some integrated arts activities while at the zoo. Kids were able to play with chalk and color on chalkboards in an area behind the petting zoo. There was also a block building station so they were able to build with their imagination.

Unfortunately, I believe I just went at a bad time when children weren't really there. I believe children would not be super interested if they were there though.

The integrated arts activities that I saw was just students engaged in looking at art of all different kids. They are full of life while talking about it. It was so interesting to watch kids get excited and watch them light up looking at it and figuring out what it means.

I believe that art allows students to express their needs and their emotions largely when they struggle to express them with words.
