I practiced my pronunciation with quizlet. Quizlet is great especially the flash cards and mini games that are available. I practiced verbs, nouns, pronouns, and phrases. I loved the "Match" mini game and I managed to score the highest score at one point.
I also practiced the flash cards that are available on quizlet which saves me time from making my own flashcards.

I learned new cases which were the Accusative and Nominative. I watched a video that further explains the accusative and nominative cases as i had trouble understanding in class
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuKmRTfZZv8

Besides that, I also did the formative test. This helps me in recalling the topics i have learned as it functions as a revision. As the Formative tests can be taken as many times as possible, i tried to re-take the test until full marks was achieved.

I learned the many furnitures and rooms in the house such as der Balkon, das Schlafzimmer, der Stuhl, der Sessel and das Regal. I tried to make it a habit to think of the room name in german in my head whenever i enter a room. Besides that, at home whenever i use an item in the kitchen or bedroom, i try to recall the german word for it. This is useful as it makes me remember the gender of the item itself.

I also studied the script that was given during the lab session. The script was on ordering food in a restaurant. As i feel that learning to order food is one of the basic necessities thus i felt it was important to know how to order food. I've also been planning on visiting Germany and this skill would prove to be very useful once i'm there.

I asked for opinions on how i wrote the essential homework and my german friend said that although it is understandable what i am trying to portray, positions and placement of words were the common mistakes i made. It took me a while to get used to telling the time as for example "half four" in english is 4:30 where as "halb vier" in German is 3:30. I also practiced the 24-hour format which is simpler.
