It is a really small city and it's called an island although it isn't.
It is mostly known for its touristic stuff and the university located there.
I like to go there around February/March when there's carnival going on.
It has a beautiful kind of lake and a place to stay that they call 'little Beach' although there's no sea. It's always over 30 ℃ 
We do some fun and relaxing activities during the day and party at night.

It is about two hours by airplane from Campinas.

Probably one of the most green areas in Campinas, this neighborhood is full of opportunities, from college to cutting edge techonology companies. Barão is part of a region that it is known by the Brazilian Silicon Valley, because of the amount and diversity of tech companies around. São Carlos is considered the climate capital, because you live the four climate seasons of the year.
