An important part of a health and social care worker's job is to serve the community. If they are aware of their responsibilities, they can have a positive influence on those around them. There are some guidelines that outline a health and social care worker's primary responsibilities and circumstances in which their assistance is needed: Care for family members who are in need, people who are experiencing relationship conflict, those who are aging, those who have mental disabilities or distress, those who are dependent on alcohol or other drugs, physically disabled people who are experiencing independence issues and social isolation, and lastly, those who are struggling financially and are trying to make ends meet.
